How MajTouch handles your personal data

Who is responsible

MajTouch, Johan Huizingalaan 140, 1065 JE Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KVK) 42025597, VAT (BTW) NL005440196B29. Contact: contact.majtouch@gmail.com, phone +31 6 53464574. MajTouch is the data controller for the personal data described below.

What data we process, and why

• Booking data (name, e-mail address, phone number, chosen treatment, date and time). Purpose: to schedule and confirm your appointment and to contact you about it. Legal basis: performance of the contract with you.
• Health information you share before or during a session (symptoms, injuries, conditions, medication, contraindications). Purpose: to plan the treatment and to keep you safe. Legal basis: your explicit consent, which you give by sharing this information; you can withhold it, but then some treatments may not be possible. This information is kept in your treatment notes and is never used for marketing.
• Messages you send by WhatsApp, e-mail or through the booking system. Purpose: to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your request.
• Payment data, handled by the payment provider of the booking system or at the studio. MajTouch does not store card details.

Services we use

• Fresha (online booking). When you book online, Fresha processes your booking data under its own privacy policy. Fresha acts as a processor for MajTouch for the appointment itself.
• WhatsApp (Meta) and Gmail (Google) for messages. Messages are stored on these providers’ servers under their terms.
• Google Maps: the contact section can show a Google map of the studio, but only after you click “Show map”. Until then nothing is loaded from Google. When you click, your browser connects to Google, which may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. Street View opens on Google’s site.

Fonts are served from this website’s own server. Apart from the map you can choose to load, this website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising trackers, and has no contact form.

How long we keep data

• Booking data: as long as needed for the appointment and any follow-up, then according to the retention of the booking system.
• Treatment notes, including health information: for as long as you are a client, and afterwards for the period required to handle any complaints or claims. You can ask for earlier deletion.
• Invoices and payment records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.

Who else sees your data

Nobody, apart from the service providers listed above, who process data on our behalf, and authorities when the law requires it. Your data is not sold and not used for advertising. Reviews are published only with your consent, and only in the form you agreed to.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (in the Netherlands: the AVG) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive a copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent for health information at any time; this does not affect processing that already took place. Write to contact.majtouch@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

Treatment notes are stored securely and accessed only by the therapist. Online services are used with two-factor authentication where available.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the studio changes tools or services. The date of the latest version is shown here: September 2026.
