Good for: prolonged stress, difficulty switching off, trouble falling asleep or feeling rested, a feeling of being constantly “on”, tension held in the neck, chest, shoulders or abdomen, stress-related digestive discomfort, physical tension that feels difficult to explain.
Sometimes the body stays tense long after the stressful moment has passed. The shoulders remain lifted, the breath becomes shallow, the mind keeps searching. MajNervusVagus is a slow, sensory bodywork session for deep relaxation and nervous system regulation. You simply lie down and breathe naturally. There is nothing to perform and nothing to achieve. Touch, breath, rhythm, temperature and stillness, centred on the neck, chest and diaphragm.
- Arriving in the body: about five minutes of gentle breathing
- Rhythm and tapping: soft, brief chest tapping (EFT-inspired)
- Neck and chest: sternocleidomastoid, collarbones, sternum, ribs
- Diaphragm: more focused work, deeper but never painful
- Temperature: moxa warmth near the neck, a cool massage sphere on the skin
- Rest, a slow ending and a warm cup of tea
